Darya Ahmed is a clinical psychologist and scientific researcher with Koya University and specializes in psychological trauma in the context of the Kurdish Genocide. Darya Rosam Ahmed is a clinical psychologist and scientific researcher affiliated with Koya University in Kurdistan region of Iraq. He published sevral papers in international journals focusing on psychological trauma in the context of the Kurdish genocide, war, conflict, migration, suicide, mental health, and related topics. He also serves as a mental health consultant in humanitarian settings, currently working with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), a United Nations migration agency.Additionally, Darya is the founding president of De Novo for Research and Development, an educational and research brand dedicated to advancing mental health research and fostering academic growth in the field. His work reflects a deep commitment to understanding and addressing complex mental health challenges in vulnerable populations, particularly in conflict-affected regions.
